Samsung has a test firmware for the Galaxy S3 published. The firmware is based on Android 4.1.1 Jellybean and is in the pre-release status. The build was compiled on July 31.

Visible changes include a new clock in the notification bar, of course, Google Now, a few new wallpapers and a live "palm swipe a screenshot which you can make. The Samsung fan site normal advises users to wait for the official update, since in this version are some bugs.

In addition, the site reports that the Galaxy S 2 and Galaxy Note also an update to Jellybean. Under current planning, which updates should be distributed in September or October. That would mean that both smartphone get their second major update: from 2.3 Gingerbread to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and now to 4.1 Jellybean.
