HTC One X gets Android 4.1 in October

Since HTC in July announced that the HTC One X, One S and One XL went with an Android Jelly Bean update the HTC users impatiently waiting. It seems that this wait will soon come to an end for the HTC One X users now HTC has announced that this device will get the update in October.

HTC also plans to Jellybean before Christmas available to all their newer smartphones, with the One X first followed by probably the HTC One S. One or the HTC V also gets an update to Jelly Bean remains a mystery. All that is in our view be under 'newer smartphones. For now only the update for the HTC One X and HTC One S confirmed by HTC.

The upcoming X + One and One XL from the store will be delivered with Android 4.1 Jellybean. The HTC One X is currently the flagship of HTC but will soon be two bigger brothers in the form of the One X + and One XL.
