Firefox for Android tablet adds more speed in navigation

The Mozilla Foundation has released a new version of Firefox for Android tablet available for download from Google Play. The same improvements that have made Firefox for smartphones faster Android is now available for 'tablets' with Google's mobile OS. In this new version runs everything faster, from start to load, zooming or scrolling on web pages.

The new version has a new home page that allows users to access your favorites with just a gesture. Includes the new window that displays all your bookmarks, browsing history, passwords and forms. Also included is the ability to import browsing data, bookmarks, etc to other devices via Firefox Sync.

Firefox for Android supports Flash in 'Android tablet' with Honeycomb system, allowing more interaction with video games and websites. The new version lets you surf the web easily with new features and improvements in stability and Search on page and text selection.

Also as it is based on open technology that the desktop version offers the same level of security and privacy tools like Do Not Crawl, master password, and HTTP Security.

Finally include the availability of HTML5 in Firefox for Android that will help developers create web pages and applications in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and other web standards including the new APIs.
