Android update for HTC One X
HTC One X goes after an update to Android 4.0.4 quarter longer. The update is available from Friday and also improves the camera functions and the browser.
That HTC has announced Friday. Tweakers.net conducted several benchmark tests and concludes that the fourth battery lasts longer.

Light, medium and heavy use would greatly improve the battery life. HTC itself has announced that the stability of the system improved.

In addition, the camera features adapted. The continuous auto focus and white balance are improved according to the manufacturer. In the browser, which the update even faster, the management of tabs improved and can be switched easily between these tabs.

"Users can also expect improvements with respect to the memory, the Internet experience and overall system stability," said HTC.

Successor
The manufacturer is in a financial position challenging. HTC has to do with a shrinking market share despite the launched One series where the One X part is from. There have been rumors about an upgraded version of the One X to come out in October.

The update to Android 4.0.4 can be downloaded by going to 'Settings'. It then falls at the bottom of the tab 'Info'. Then is placed on "Software Updates" check box.
