HTC, all updates to Android 4.0 ICS

HTC has just announced a tab in which you show all of its devices, which will officially (including date of roll-out) the last update to Android, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

HTC does not want to abandon all "other users" of its previous smartphone to its latest set-top range (of course we speak of the One Family, One V with rising HTC, HTC and HTC One X One S), but they still represented and currently represent an important customer segment for the Taiwanese manufacturer.

One thing positive and one negative: the first is that HTC is working really hard to be able to upgrade almost all of its devices (if not all), while the second is that HTC has woken up a little late, because updates would arrive almost about 7 months since the release of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (19 October 2011).

The manufacturer specifies that due to the necessary approvals for the release of an update, the finalization of the testing process and partners with whom he works; the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for any particular smartphone may not be available simultaneously on all territories. At most, from one country to another, you must wait a period of 45 days.

So in today's day comes good news for users who have a smartphone from HTC, considering that the list issued by the group includes many phones, whose owners will soon enjoy exclusive features and enhancements in the latest Google operating system release. In conclusion, HTC says that for some devices you can not release the update to ICS, and therefore remain with the current version of the OS (Gingerbread). They are, specifically, those with 512 MB RAM or less, or HTC Cha-Cha, Salsa HTC, HTC Wildfire S, Explorer HTC, HTC Flyer, HTC EVO View 4G and HTC Jetstream.
