Ziggo launches live TV on Android
Ziggo is the Android version of its 'Ziggo TV' app update, which now can also be used to watch live TV on Android Tablets and smartphones.

For iOS devices, this feature was already available.
With the updated app Android Users can watch live television on their smartphone or tablet. For this one must be the Internet through a Ziggoverbinding. The application can be downloaded for free via the Google Play Store.

The app allows fourteen channels directly view, including most major Dutch broadcasters. To use this feature, tablets should at least be equipped with Android 3.0, while Android 2.3 smartphones sufficient.

The live TV feature came last year available for iPad, iPod touch and iPhone users. Ziggo showed earlier this month that the Androidapp in the course of September would also be extended to include such a feature.
